Dr. Jody Abrams, is currently the only fellowship trained sub-specialist in Oculoplastic Surgery and Neuro-Ophthalmology not only in Chattanooga but in the whole Tri-State area.  He brings expertise in the diagnoses, treatment, and surgery of the eyelids, eye socket, tear system, neurological and ophthalmic diseases.  His skills compliment Chattanooga Eye Institutes goal to provide complete and total eye care to all members of the family. 

Dr. Abrams came to Chattanooga following a fellowship in oculoplastic surgery and neuro-ophthalmology with Dr. Thomas Spoor in Detroit.  Dr. Abrams is a graduate of LSU Medical School where he was chief ophthalmology resident, a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honorary society and is currently writing a book on oculoplastic surgery.

He has also been a presenter at the ARVO national meeting.  He is board certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology.
